Pittsburgh at Night

photo of Pittsburgh at Night

Pittsburgh at Night

Taken through the window of the Le Mont Restaurant on Mt. Washington with the little camera that’s definitely lost its edge–still, I didn’t want to take the big camera to a benefit dinner. Pittsburgh is lovely, especially at night. On this week between Christmas and New Year’s, many people are on vacation and the city lights are dim, but the little gold and blue lights still lead your eye around the scene. Pittsburgh is really just a little handful of buildings in the valley created by the joining of two rivers to form a third with gentle green hills all around.

I have other photos of Pittsburgh on my website at Pittsburgh 1, Pittsburgh 2 and Pittsburgh 3

  1. I think Pittsburgh is one of the most beautiful cities, but Pittsburgh at Night has always been captivating to me–I think it’s the rivers reflecting the lights. Thanks!
