Tennies

Wonder which neighborhood kid is missing a pair of tennis shoes. Traditions.

Great shot. 😀 They made the same claim in Toronto about gang related territory. It probably started as a urban myth and then young kids who didn’t know any better tried using it “for real”. 😀

    • Kind of like the cars driving with headlights off at night–is it a gang thing or not?

I have always wondered what that’s about. Only place I’ve ever seen that is in NYC, where I assumed it was a gang-territory sign.

    • Diana, we did this when I was growing up! In the suburbs! Somebody would grab someone else’s tennis shoes, tie the laces together and toss them over the telephone line, just as a gag, but no gang.
