Sunny Main Street

main street

Main Street Carnegie

Well, it was sunny, but instead of leaving it in its natural colors, I desaturated it to approximate a black and white shot because I liked the close-set details of all the buildings and light poles and bollards and bricks. I then added a yellow filter because it seemed to help define things better.

  1. I would love to use your photo of Sunny Main Street of Carnegie Pennsylvania. I lived in Carnegie in 1974 and I am writing a book for my family and would like to add a photo of Carnegie with your permission. I love this one.

    • Those things that look like chess pieces between the street and sidewalk! Carnegie’s are a really brilliant turquoise, I love them.
