Meanwhile Last Year: Illuminated Blossoms

Illuminated blossoms.

The pear trees were blooming on Main Street on this day last year! Not a sign of any pear trees or magnolia, and even the daffodils are hesitating.

  1. I am trying not to think about it, Bernadette – last year we had summer in March, this year it is still winter. I’m beginning to wonder what the summer will bring.

    • Composer, one good thing about a long winter is that when spring comes everything blooms at once and it’s generally warm and sunny. Last year was unusually early, though!
