Farmer’s Market

Flowers

On the first Friday night of the farmer’s market, the colors of flowers filled the spring evening, fire-engine red geraniums, pink petunias, white impatiens, coral tuberous begonia and multi-colored dahlias.

Only a few vendors came in, mostly with plants because there isn’t anything to harvest yet except hothouse vegetables, which really aren’t that bad until later in the summer when really fresh things come in. Still, I had to go just to get the season started. My sister came with me, and I enjoyed the company for once.
